These 7 and 9 gram Brass Weights have two(2) functions as below.
1. Tonal Enhancer- String instruments has a characteristics if it has a big D-string
sound, all other 3 strings will be influenced to be bigger sound.
Installation is easy. 9 gram weight put on D-string near by the
bridge 7-10mm close.
Adjust 9 gram weight up and down to get the enhanced sound
using moderate bowing.
If it is not enough the enhanced echo, add one more 7 gram
weight underneath.
Note:In case if you have unexpected noise, please move 7 gram weight a little 1mm down.
Noise will be clear.
Attached right hand picture is one of my Cello, I am enjoying unbelievable bigger enhanced sound
since I found this secret.
2. Wolf-Killer - If you install 9 gram weight on G-string or C-string, it will be a function of Wolf-Killer as usual.
